Power Kleen Parts cleaning chemicals are designed for a
huge variety of parts cleaning solution applications and factory recommended
for all MART and StingRay Parts Washers. Power Kleen is suited for all parts washers because quality of our soap and the familiarity of the our
service technicians with these chemicals and the different cleaning applications.
ATTENTION: Parts Washer Owners:
The appropriate amount of chemical to
use in any parts cleaning application depends on a number of factors. These
factors include the type of parts to be cleaned, the amount of soils
to be removed from the dirty parts, the mineral content of the fresh water supply and so
forth. As a general starting point we suggest a 6 ounce per gallon
concentration for all Parts Washers. This parts washing
chemical concentration can be varied over time based on experience from the
results obtained in the first several months of use. Keep in mind
that mild steel parts washers require a chemical concentration that
maintains an appropriate level of corrosion prevention. Generally, a
Parts Washer Solution pH above 10.5 will prevent corrosion in the parts
washer cabinet. The PDF file
below has recommended initial concentrations for both powder and
liquid based Power Kleen parts washer detergents
recommended for used in MART Power Washer, StingRay, Proceco, JRI, Better Engineering and many other Parts Washers.
Parts Washer Solution and Detergent Concentration Calculator:
Use the Chemical and Detergent Concentration Calculator to determine the proper amount of detergent to add to your parts washer. The concentration calculator works for new batches of water and detergent to determine the amount of powdered chemical in pounds or liquid detergent in gallons to add to a parts washer bath to obtain a specified chemical concentration in ounces per gallon. The chemical concentration calculator also determines the additional detergent required to make-up or sweeten a bath from a known concentration level to your desired concentration level. This calculation is required each time you perform a titration measurement and determine your existing detergent concentration. The concentration calculator allows you to determine the amount of detergent you must add to your parts washer to reach your target detergent concentration.
